New York Solitaire is a solitaire card game. It is an interesting and fun game. This is fairly an easy game. With the right mindset, you will be able to win this game. Chances of winning this game are about 1 in 5.

The main objective of this game is to build the foundations up in the suit until each pile having thirteen cards.

Cards Layout

This game uses 104 cards. You have 8 foundations and 8 tableau piles available to you. One card is dealt to each tableau pile at the beginning of the game. The next card is placed above. This will be the starter card of the foundation. The seven other cards of the same rank will be placed next to it during play as soon as they are available.


The 8 tableau columns are built downward in alternating colour consecutively, with Aces built onto Kings. Only one card at a time can be moved from pile to pile. Empty tableau spaces may be filled by any card only from the stock or waste piles.

When all the moves which are initially available to you have been made, start turning cards from the stockpile to any of the three waste piles. You can move cards from the waste piles to the tableaus and to the foundations according to the rules. There is no redeal available to you.
