Florentine Solitaire is a type of Solitaire card game. It is a simple and easy game to learn. You may expect to win at least half of your games, with the good play you should be able to win most games.
The objective of the game is to build the foundations up in the suit until each pile contains thirteen cards.
This game uses 52 cards. Place five cards face up in a cross formation, these are the tableaus. One card is dealt to each pile at the start of the game. The next card is dealt into the top left corner of the cross. This will be the starter card of the foundations. The three other cards of the same rank, when they become available, are placed in the remaining corners of the cross.
The cards present on the top of tableaus and the discard pile are available for play onto tableaus and foundations. Tableaus build down circularly without regard to suit. Any available card may be played to an empty tableau. The central tableau pile can have one card only. It may be used on a foundation pile, but not moved to another tableau pile.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile to the waste pile. You can move cards from the waste pile to the tableau piles and to the foundations. You have one redeal available to you. Deal one card from the deck onto the discard pile at any time.
