Ali Baba Solitaire is a type of Solitaire card game. It is a variation of Forty Thieves Solitaire, differing in that Ali Baba is a one-deck game, while Forty Thieves uses two decks.
The main objective of this game is to build all eight foundations up in suit from ace to king.
It uses 52 cards. It starts with dealing 40 cards to the tableau piles, as ten piles of four cards each are formed. There are 4 foundation piles. The remaining cards form the stock and are held in a single face-down pile. Also reserve space for a single wastepile. Aces are moved to the foundations at the start of the game.
The cards which are present at the top of tableau piles and the waste pile are available to play. You can build tableau piles down in suit. One card or group of cards in the proper sequence can be moved from pile to pile. Spaces within the tableau may be filled with any card.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile to the waste pile. You can move cards from the waste pile to the tableaus and to the foundations according to the rules. There is no redeal available to you.
